More than £24,000 has been raised for Jersey Mencap following our annual walking challenge.
About 500 walkers, aged eight and over, took part in the Jersey Mencap’s South Coast Charity Challenge 2024 on the 19th of May.
The 24km (15-mile) route stretched from La Rocque to Radio Towers near Corbiere Lighthouse.
The funds will go towards the charity’s projects supporting people with learning disabilities.
Chair John Hutchins said: “It’s an important fundraiser for us but also a great opportunity for walkers to take on a personal challenge with the sense of achievement it offers.”
Booking are now open for next years challenge.
Fundraise with your feet for Jersey Mencap whilst enjoying the stunning south coast of Jersey.
The route is approximately 15 miles in distance with the aim of raising awareness and funds for people with a learning disability in Jersey.
